Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

The short version: the game keeps your save on your own computer. The only thing that ever leaves it is what you choose to post in the optional in-game chat. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no accounts, and nothing is sold to anyone.

On your computer

Your saved game, settings and progress are stored on your own device and never uploaded by the game. (If you play through a store that offers cloud saves, such as Steam Cloud, that store may copy your save file to sync it between your computers, under its own privacy policy.)

The in-game chat

Chat is optional and only connects when you open the Chat app on the SharkPad. When you use it, our chat server receives and stores:

Chat messages are public to everyone playing. Please don't post personal information. Offensive messages and links are blocked automatically, and players who break the rules can be banned.

What we don't do

Children

77-36 isn't made for children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect anything from them. The chat collects no personal information, but if you believe a child has posted something personal, contact us and we'll remove it.

Removing your chat data

Chat history rolls over on its own as new messages arrive. To have messages from your player ID removed sooner, contact us with your chat name and roughly when you posted.
